The last step in the production process is filling/dispensing, packaging, and storing the product. In the case of cell-based products, the packaging must be aseptic, i.e., free of pathogens or infections. The finished cellular product must then be cryopreserved, i.e. refrigerated in an environment of -150°C or colder.
